PROJECT PURR'S FREE KITTEN AND CAT CARE CLASS FOR KIDS

This spring, we're offering our special Purr-iculum to area elementary schools. And, this summer, we're available to Purr-sent at the city's summer camps.

This 30-minute class focuses on cool cat facts and responsible ownership. Designed for kids in kindergarten through fifth grade, our Purr-iculum includes information about:
1. breedsIn addition, Purr-ticipants can:
2. interpreting feline feelings through vocal cues and body language
3. feral cat identification & safety
4. what cats need to live long, healthy lives
5. how to properly hold a cat and
6. what to do if you see an animal being mistreated.
1. hold a real live kitten
2. submit their best kitty or cat name to be used for a future foster
3. receive Project Purr sticker, Purr-fect Child Certifi-cat and a take-home Kitty Craft Bag with snacks, coloring sheets and other activities.
